इस हफ्ते मैंने कुछ मंगाया ही नहीं। संदेश किसी सेंडर आईडी से नहीं, एक नंबर से आया है और लिंक कूरियर की असली साइट की जगह .top पर खत्म होता है। सिर्फ ₹25 मांगे जा रहे हैं, इसीलिए मैं लगभग भर ही देता। क्या यही वह ठगी है जिसकी चर्चा हो रही है?

Yes, this is the redelivery fee fraud. The ₹25 is not the target. The payment page captures your card number and the OTP you enter, and the real debits follow later that day. Do not open the link. If you already entered card details, call your bank now and block the card.

Same message reached me twice last month, both times around 9 pm. India Post and the private couriers send delivery updates only from registered sender IDs, never from a personal mobile number.

A quick check that works for me: open the courier's own app or website and search the tracking number there. If no such consignment exists, the SMS is fake.

Marking this answered. You can report the sender and the link at cybercrime.gov.in under 'Report Other Cyber Crime', and forward the SMS to 1909.

- पोस्ट में बैंक विवरण, OTP, कार्ड नंबर या शिकायत नंबर न लिखें।
- किसी व्यक्ति का नाम लेकर आरोप न लगाएं। इसके बजाय cybercrime.gov.in पर शिकायत करें।
- यहां कोई आपसे पैसे नहीं मांगेगा और न फीस लेकर पैसा वापस दिलाने का दावा करेगा। जो ऐसा करे, वह ठग है।
- जवाब मॉडरेट होते हैं। विषय से हटकर और असुरक्षित सलाह हटा दी जाती है।
