Report a fraud

This website does not accept complaints. Complaints are filed only on official Government of India portals. Here is exactly how to do it.

Step by step

  1. Call 1930 first

The national cyber crime helpline works round the clock. Report within the first hours of losing money.

  2. Keep your evidence ready

Screenshots, the caller's number, UPI IDs, transaction IDs, bank statement and the app or website name.

  3. Register on cybercrime.gov.in

Choose 'Report Financial Fraud' for money loss, or the relevant category for other offences. Upload your evidence.

  4. Save the acknowledgement number

You need it to track the complaint and to follow up with your bank and the local cyber cell.

  5. Follow up with the bank and cyber cell

Give the bank your acknowledgement number in writing and ask for the dispute status. Visit the local cyber police station if required.
